If a parent says that they've been logging reading at home but you can't see it on the dashboard they could have created a child account (not linked to your school) by mistake.
To resolve this:
Give the parent a linking letter and ask them to complete these steps:
- Log onto the parent app.
- Click on settings.
- Click on their child's name.
- If the child isn't linked to the school a link to school button will appear. Ask them to click this.
- The parent will need to enter one of the codes from the letter. (These last for 14 days.)
- If there is a duplicate account it'll find it at this point and ask if they want to merge the account. Make sure that they check the names match and click merge.
