How can I see how much of a certain type of a book a child is reading?

When a book is added to the bookshelf by a teacher (see the video below), you are prompted to give this book a tag, e.g. phonics or reading for pleasure book. You can then filter by these types of books on the pupil reading page on the Teacher Dashboard, to see how much of each type of book a child is reading. You'll see this on the left hand side under filter by book.

What about if I'm not adding books but asking parents to do it?

When a parent scans in a book it will default to a reading for pleasure book, unless it is one of our phonics/ reading scheme books. If for example, a Little Wandle book is added by a parent our system recognises that this is not a reading for pleasure book and it tags it accordingly.
