Help CentreThere are various ways to log reading in school. One way is through scan and log, which can be used by pupils or anyone else working in school.
Scan and Log is a super-fast way of logging reading
Every class on the Pageticker platform has a QR code. This can be found in Pupils and Classes, under the User Management menu.
Print the QR code off and keep in the classroom by the reading area.
Then just scan it with a mobile device, choose the class member, and scan the book.
Children (or you, or a TA) can also use it to scan books they are borrowing so you keep track of them, too.
It's a slimmed down version of logging reading on the teacher dashboard. Comments can't be added for safeguarding reasons.
All books added with scan and log can be edited or deleted from the main teacher dashboard by clicking on the edit button.
