I can't find a book to log against can I add it manually?

There are various ways to add a book, to log reading against. 

1. On the log reading screen by clicking the barcode scanner.
2. On the bookshelf by clicking add book or scan barcode or add manually. 

If the barcode can't be found you'll be prompted to search manually. If when you search manually the title can't be found then a message will appear which will say no books found please refine your search. Underneath this it'll say have a book that's not in our database take a picture to add it. 

When you click on the link for take a picture to add it you'll be prompted to take a photo of the book and to add details like the number of pages. Please make this information as clear and accurate as possible. It'll come through to us to review. 

We'll either approve the title for you to log reading against (this happens 9/10 - it's only if someone has taken a photo of something unrelated that we won't approve this) or we will approve the title for everyone to log reading against. 

It's important to say also that it doesn't have to be a book in can be a newspaper, a text, an audiobook etc. 

This is currently only possible on the parent app, not the teacher dashboard.
