Every time a child loans a book from school, it is added to the school’s book catalogue. This becomes a database of every book the school owns. As well as creating a loan history of each book, meaning books are far less likely to be lost.
It also provides a searchable catalogue, allowing teachers, parents and pupils to see what books are available to read. They can also filter by genre, category or reading scheme.
It's a powerful search as if a teacher wanted to see if there were any fiction books on trains in the library that were of the right level of challenge for a pupil, that option would be there.
