Why are there missing book covers on Pageticker?

On an odd occasion, there can be missing book covers on Pageticker on the parent app and the Teacher Dashboard.

We use the ISBN database for the book covers on Pageticker. If it is missing from the ISBN database then it will appear as missing on Pageticker. 

We do have a process of manually checking these and adding any missing ones. So, if we can find them then we will add them, usually after a few days. However, there are times when the book covers simply can't be found on the internet often if it's a discontinued or older book.
